Valerie Hansen
My husband, Dale and I live in Saline. We have two daughters, Libbey, 4, and
Kate, 1. We also have a 90 pound golden retriever named Cooper. I was raised
in Northville, Michigan, just thirty miles northeast of Saline. I enjoy
gardening, decorating my home, painting, shopping, running, and playing
at my parent’s lake house in Irish Hills.
I received my bachelor’s degree in elementary education with a major
in math and a minor in science at Eastern Michigan University. I received my
master’s degree in the Art of Teaching from Marygrove College. This is
my eighth year teaching fifth grade in Saline.
