Classroom Policies
Beginning
of Class
• Be in assigned seat when bell rings
• Have the following materials ready when bell rings
o Pencil
o Paper
o Homework
o Book
o Calculator
o Red Pen
End of Class
• Keep all materials out until told otherwise
• Remain in assigned seat until bell rings
• Begin work on homework or ask specific questions
Classroom Rules
• All school rules apply
• No outside distractions
• Bring book and materials (paper, pencil, homework, brain) to class
• No swearing or offensive language
Grade Policy
• Each quarter will be 40% of final grade
• Final exam will be remaining 20% of final grade

Homework Policy
• Homework should be expected and completed every day
• Homework grades will make up 25% of quarter grade
• Each homework assignment will be worth 10 points
• Homework will be graded by:
o You (checked and corrections made in red pen)
o Mr. Reeves
• Homework will be accepted a maximum one day late for 5 points
Tests and Quizzes
• Tests and Quizzes will be announced ahead of time
• Tests and Quizzes will make up 75% of quarter grade
Leaving the Classroom
• If you have a scheduled pass to leave class, please tell me at the beginning
of the hour
• You will be allowed one pass to the restroom each week
Absences
• Homework due the day of an absence must be turned in the day you return
to class
• Homework assigned during an absence will be due in the same number of
days as the absence
• Check class website (http://www.salineschools.com/users/reevesj), Assignment
Sheet, or with a classmate for missing assignment(s)
