1.) COME TO CLASS PREPARED- Bring a pencil and all needed supplies, materials, and handouts (including sketchbook/art binder) to class everyday. Keep all Handouts. Dont throw anything away!
2.) Backpacks, purses, personal items go in the cubbies-not on the floor.
3.) Please, no food, candy or drinks (except bottled water)
4.) Do not be tardy. You must be in the room before the bell rings. 2-5 tardies = contact parent, 5 tardies = SSP assignment, 6 or more tardies=discipline referral, per student handbook.
5.) Stay in your assigned seat and stay on task unless otherwise directed. Remain at your table until the bell rings. Do not wait by the door to be dismissed.
6.) This class is not a time to make up tests you have missed or that you need more time to complete.
7.) Do not come to class with cell phones, MP3 players, headphones or any other electronic device. The will be confiscated! Per handbook.
8.) Do not waste supplies! Discipline actions will be taken for the misuse of materials.
9.) Do not touch other student projects. That includes work in storage.
10.) Dress code as described in the student handbook will be followed.
11.) Proper care of all tools is expected. That includes tables and all other equipment.
12.) Students are not allowed in the storerooms or cabinets without my permission.
13.) Art supplies may be checked out overnight for art student's use. If articles are lost, a fine will be assessed.
14.) All students are responsible for appropriate behavior within the classroom. This includes appropriate subject matter of artwork created in class. Behavior guidelines as outlined in the student handbook will be followed.
15.) Consequences for not following guidelines
Disciplinary action may jump from level 1 to 3 or 4, depending on severity.
