Mrs. Marshall

 

Welcome to the second grade! My name is Mrs. Marshall. I am looking forward to an excellent school year- I hope you are too. We will be learning many interesting things together through hands-on activities and explorations. Our schedule will be very busy. We will certainly learn a lot during our adventure through second grade, and make many new friends and memories along the way.

Woodland Meadows is such an awesome school filled with lots of friendly people. This will be my fifth year teaching second grade at Woodland Meadows. Before that, I taught a gifted 1st/2nd grade class in Romulus (right next to the airport.)

Just for a little more information about me, I am an energetic teacher who loves learning! I grew up in Ypsilanti, Michigan and got my college degree from Eastern Michigan University. I recently received my masters in the Art of Teaching. I currently live in Saline and my students often spot me around town. My family includes: my husband (who many of you will have the opportunity to meet), our daughter, my mom, a younger sister, and a little brother. I am a big baseball fan, enjoy reading, and have a deep love for anything Irish! I hope you will share details about your life and I look forward to us getting to know each other better.
