Joe and Josephine Returned Alive
Relatives Still Missing

These new duds have been known for quite some time. Two weeks ago, the kidnappers released photos of Geometry Joe and his relatives back on the fifteenth. (Pictured at right.) Geometry Joe and his sister Josephine are returned to their proper home just in time to welcome a new set of students to math class with the world-famous Geometry Joe Theorem.
As for the other family members who were stolen, there is no word of their condition at the present time. While Joe and Josephine were returned unharmed, their aunt from Florida was stolen away sometime over the exam week and their cousin from Africa still has yet to be seen.
Jonik was unable to make a statement on behalf of Geometry Joe, but did mention they still would like to see Joe's relatives back on the blackboard.
"This is very interesting," Miss Jonik, Geometry Joe´s supervisor said at a press conference on Friday night. "Joe, Josephine, and their cousin all appear to be in good health and alive. It is unfortunate to report, however, that they are still in custody of the kidnappers."
Jonik said she could not go into further details as the case progresses, but rumours in the town of Euclid say that Geometry Joe and his relatives were taken to a Meijer´s store. "We´re interested to see what happens to Joe," one pair of Ells told us.
This is not the first time that Geometry Joe has been kidnapped in recent years, by all accounts. In the past, Geometry Joe has found himself buried alive.
"We´re still working on suspects this time," Jonik told Square Reuters. "We did have the local security guard in Thursday afternoon as part of our ongoing investigation."
Jonik also reiterated that she will not give in to the kidnapper´s demands. "We do not negotiate," she said again Friday morning.
Other images of Geometry Joe showed Joe standing by a Barbie doll within the Meijer store and Joe with watermelon.
"We are not sure how much time he has left," said Jonik. "The execution of Joe could happen any day. We are worried, but there is nothing we can do until we collect enough evidence to figure out where he is."
"We do not negotiate with these people," Miss Jonik told the AP on Tuesday. "We will not accept their demands and currently have our best investigators on the hunt for Joe."
Despite this, things look very grim for Geometry Joe, who has been missing since before winter break. "We know he is alive," Jonik said. "This morning, a picture of both Geometry Joe and his sister was intercepted by the mathematics investigators. "Geometry Joe´s sister, who was meeting with Jonik in the days following Geometry Joe´s kidnapping, was also stolen from the classroom the same week as Geometry Joe. Geometry Josphine also disappeared, but no ransom note was found.
"A picture we saw this morning showed us that Joe and Josephine are both alive and well," Jonik said Tuesday morning. "We are beginning to get a list of possible suspects based on the information we have collected."
Jonik hopes to get the world-famous creator of the Geometry Joe Theorem returned to his rightful chalkboard before the end of the semester. "We´re very concerned about Joe and his sister."
A second-cousin from Africa is currently filling the post left by Joe when he was kidnapped.
