Honors Algebra III Notebook Policy

 

Notebooks will be graded twice during the semester. I am looking for overall organization and neatness--not perfection! You will receive an A if your notebook is divided into the sections stated below and is neat. Please designate one notebook just for your Algebra class. Here are the sections you need:

General Information Section

 

•  course description
•  class policies on homework and notebooks
•  pink sheet
•  math teams
•  list of homework assignments

 
Notes Section

 

•  date at beginning of each lesson
•  warm-up problems
•  title of lesson
•  all definitions, theorems and examples given on the board
•  practice problems

 

Homework Section

 

•  all assignments organized by date
•  complete set of assignments (graded and not graded)

 

Tests & Quizzes Section

 

•  arranged in chronological order
•  corrections shown

 

Classwork/GroupWork/

Miscellaneous

 

•  all items organized by date
•  record of group grade

 
Journal

 

•  thoughtful writing on given issue
•  legible writing!
