| Film as Literature |
|---|
This senior-only English elective is designed to teach students the fundamental elements of story-telling, using film as a medium for encouraging critical thinking and writing. Students will view such classics as The Godfather, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, and Guess Who's Coming to Dinner. The films we look at range from the early-twentieth century to the present era. Each course unit (based primarily on genre) aims to examine the complex social aspects of human nature and history, while developing students' English skills.
