AP Scores
Interpreting AP Grades
AP Grades are reported on a 5-point scale, with 5 being the highest. These grades are used to determine a student's eligibilty for advanced placement and/or advanced credit. A score of 3 is considered passing. The College Board interprets these grades as shown in the table below.
