Biographical Information:

Born and raised in Michigan, I am a graduate of Churchill High School in Livonia. After graduating high school, I attended Schoolcraft College where I earned an Associates in Liberal Arts before going onto Eastern Michigan University and completing a Bachelors in Business Education in 1994. During my time at EMU, I continued to work in the business field and earn the 4,000 hours required for a vocational endorsement in the office education area.

After graduating from EMU, I was a substitute teacher in Livonia and Plymouth/Canton High Schools. Thereafter, I took a job working at a private school in Wyandotte. In 1996 I was hired by Saline Area Schools as a Business Education teacher at Saline High School. In 1999 I completed a Master's in Business Education degree from Eastern Michigan University.

I have a son, Tyler (9), and a daughter Paige (5). We all live in the Saline area where Tyler attends Heritage School and Paige is in Harvest Elementry School.
