About Me:

Hi, my name is Mrs. Hensley and this is my tenth year teaching at Heritage School. I have had the pleasure of teaching Special Education, 5th grade and 6th grade. I really enjoy teaching all subjects, but Math, Science and Writing are my favorites!

My Education:

I am proud to say that I grew up in Saline and graduated in 1991. I earned my Bachelor's degree in elementary education from Eastern Michigan University and have a special education endorsement. I received a Master's in the Art of Teaching through Marygrove College.

My Family:

I live in Tecumseh with my husband Dave, stepson Blake, and our dog Scrappy Doo. Blake is a seventh grader at Saline Middle School and we're very excited to watch him play football this year . . . GO HORNETS!!! I love to golf, read and spend time with family and friends.
