Hello!

My name is Mrs. Coughlin and I have been teaching for 24 years. I first taught in Maryland, my home state, for 12 years before moving to Saline. This is my 12th year teaching in Saline. I have a Bachelors Degree in Elementary / Special Education from The University of Maryland, College Park and a masters degree in Reading, from Loyola University in Baltimore.

I am a fifth grade teacher at Heritage School. My teammates are Mr. Ericksen and Ms. Kleinsmith. Although we team teach, my main subjects are social studies and language arts.

I live in Saline with my husband, Brian, and my two sons. Patrick is a sophomore at Indiana Universityand Michael is a sophomore at Saline High School. In my spare time, I enjoy playing golf and riding bikes. I also love to garden and of course, read.
