Track & Field

Over the last ten years we have seen O.J., McDonald’s Coffee, and the President of the United States put on trial. Unfortunately, much of the information we get about these cases has not necessarily come from the best sources, and many people have differing views of the law. The goal of this course is to help students gain some of the tools necessary for survival in our law-saturated society. A better understanding of the practical application (and some theoretical aspects) of legal issues will help to develop an important new perspective of society, as every purchase, contract, marriage, crime or traffic violation places us face to face with the law.
