This government class is offered for students on individualized educational plans through the special education department. In general this class consists of up to ten students. The three branches of the government and their functions, citizen responsibility, current government issues, and federal, state, and local goverment will be studied. Students must attend a local public meeting in order to receive credit for this class. Since this class is offered as a resource room class, students can also get help with other subjects they are taking.
