To find any book or video item in the library's collection, simply search our card catalog. If you ever need help finding anything, just ask for assistance at the front counter.
Please help keep our collection maintained by report any problems with equipment or books to a library staff member.
Library Sign Up:The library is available to be signed out to classes throughout the day. There is seating for three classes at a time. The class periods are divided into two halves to serve more classes. If there is no class signed out ahead of or after a class on the day of use, a class is welcome to come in early or stay later.
Each class section has twelve Dell computers for student use. In order to best supervise their students and to prevent the next class coming in from having to remove students from their reserved section, teachers should stay in their assigned section and not take over additional tables and computers. If a class requires more than 12 computers, teachers should sign out wireless carts for use in their classroom.
If a class will be in for a number of days using the same resources, please see a library staff member to request a cart to hold the materials for the class. Also, if a teacher does not want students to check out any materials until the library research days are completed, please inform a staff member that the materials are on reserve so that the items don't get checked out to anyone.

To use this equipment, please FIRST sign up in the large AV Signout book located by the reference counter. Use the tabs to find the appropriate equipment and sign the day(s) and period(s) you require. If an item is no longer needed, please erase your name from the signout book so that other staff may use it.
Equipment inventory is checked every Friday. Borrowing equipment without properly signing it out or returning it, causes an undo burden on the library staff who must spend time investigating its location. Please be considerate to your colleagues by adhereing to this sign up procedure.
Wireless Computer Carts:
There are 14 computers on each wireless cart. An instruction sheet is attached to each cart explaining the procedure for checking out equipment to students. TEACHERS AND STUDENTS WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR FAILURE TO FOLLOW THE CHECK OUT PROCEDURE OR FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED WHILE THE CARTS ARE OUT.
COMING SOON! Computer Lab:
A new wireless computer lab will be located in room C222 (the distance learning room*). Although the lab contains only 28 laptops, it has workspace and seating for 40 students—plenty of space for group projects and sharing. Sign up sheets are located on a clipboard by the equipment signout binder in the library. Please only sign out 45 minutes for each block and remember to sign up in advance to increase the chance of availability. Access the lab through the main doors of the library; the key required for entry may be obtained at the reference desk. Teachers must supervise their students at all times in the lab and must follow the check out procedures any time laptops are used.
*If you have used C222 for large group meetings, you will still be able to do this. Please see Rob W. and/or Ann O. for information.
