Aliens Ate My Homework by Bruce Coville

There is a boy named Rod. Some aliens come and boss him around. The aliens are trying to catch this really bad alien named BKR who is the worst alien in the universe. BKR has made millions cry. You will have to read more to find out what happens when BKR comes face to face with the Ferkel (their spaceship).

I liked this book because the author kind of gives you hints of what is going to happen next. I also like the author's style of writing because he writes it just like a usual 12 year old kid would do in these situations.

The House of the Scorpion by Nancy Farmer

This book is a marvelous science fiction example. It tells the tale of Matteo Alacran, a clone of the original Matteo Alacran or better known as El Patron. Many people refer to Matt as a monster or animal. But when El Patron dies, Matt is discarded into the vast wasteland known as Azlan. Here, he is taken in by the lost boys and is thrown into an adventure.

This is a perfect example of the future coming. It is a well-made book and has won many awards.
