Bunnicula Strikes Again by James Howe
In this book, Chester is trying to get rid of Bunnicula the vampire bunny by starving him. But Bunnicula is sick from something else, too. He misses his mom. When the Monroes say that their moms are coming, Bunnicula assumes that his mom is coming too but she didn't and Bunnicula is sad. The Monroes take him to the vet and Chester, Howie, Bunnicula and Harold the dog are all in the strangest place
What I think makes this book good is that it is being told by a dog. I really like that and I like the humor that Harold gives the book.

Dinotopia: Lost City by Scott Ciencin
Andrew and Thumptail are on their way back to their house. Andrew sees a ridge and thinks it might be the lost city. At the same time, Thumptail falls into a pit. Thumptail can't get out so Andrew goes to find help. He sees a cloaked figure in the distance. When Andrew reaches him, he notices that the figure has weapons. Andrew is scared because no one has weapons in Dinotopia.
This book is good because Andrew has to make friends with meat-eating dinosaurs. Also he has to get used to having swords around in the lost city. I think it was cool that the cloaked figure meets Andrew and they get to be friends.

Fantastic Mr. Fox by Roald Dahl
Mr. Fox and his family live in a burrow under the big oak. They are living a good life, stealing plump chickens, geese, turkeys, and ducks from the three nasty farmers, Boggis, Bunce, and Bean. Mr. Fox digs underground tunnels and finds the floorboards of the storehouses that belong to the farmers. The farmers find out who's causing all their trouble, and set out to demolish Mr. Fox and his family. The three farmers try to outwit the meddlesome fox. Who knows what kinds of troubles they might run into...?
The characters are witty, clever, and quick minded when it comes to getting food. Mr. Fox has a very good sense of direction, which makes it good for everyone else, because that's the way the animals got their food. Mrs. Fox kept helping the four small foxes persevere, which led all the animals a long way, because the four small foxes brought them their food. Badger worries about everything, which is funny. Compared to the other Roald Dahl books I've read, this one is certainly in the top 3!

Moby Dick by Herman Melville
In the beginning a teacher named Ishmael went on a whaling trip for three years, on the Atlantic Ocean with Captain Ahab and his crew. Captain Ahab lost his leg on an earlier trip by a whale named Moby Dick. On this trip the crew killed two whales with their harpoons before meeting Moby Dick. When the team found Moby Dick , Captain Ahab and his crew went out on small whaling boats to kill Moby Dick. Captain Ahab was accidentally killed by a harpoon rope. Read the book to find out what happened to Ishmael, the crew, and Moby Dick.
I think Moby Dick is a good book because Ishmael tells the reader about his journey to hunt Moby Dick. Ishmael tells you about Captain Ahab, the crew, and Moby Dick. If you read Moby Dick, you would probably feel like Ishmael is right next to you and you see the story through Ishmaeil's eyes.

Stuart Little by E. B. White
A normal New York family had a newborn baby. But this wasn't just an ordinary baby named Stuart. He looked like a mouse. Although he looked like a mouse he felt like a normal human being and was as smart as one, too! One day when Stuart was older a beautiful bird named Margalo ran into the Little's window. Mrs. Little then raised her back to health. Then Margalo received a letter that said beware of the strange cat who will come here tonight. She was so scared she flew away. Once Stuart finds out, he sets out to find her.
I liked this book because I liked how the author simulated how Stuart's life was since he was so short. I also liked Stuart's liking of adventure.

The Tale of Dexpurenx by Kate DeClemello
The story starts out with a little mouse that was born with its eyes open. That is not natural. One rule about being a mouse is that you can't be seen by a human. By the way, the mouse's name is Dexpurenx. Dexpurenx was seen and touched by a princess. So Dexpurenx had to go to the dungeon. Read the book to know if he lives.
All my friends have read it and theysaid that it is a book that is so unique. So my friend wouldn't tell me what it ws about. So I checked it for myself. It was perfect!
